PATINATED STEEL x CALACATTA MARBLE
Calacatta marble is found in the quarries of Carrara, a city in northwestern Italy, renowned for it's high quality marble.
The Carrara high table associates two different materials. The man made steel, used for construction in cities around the world, with marble, a natural stone evocative of Renaissance sculptures. The raw state of the marble contrasts with the minimalist lines of the steel. These symbols of strength are assembled to represent the balance between man and nature.
